  • I finally was able to catch up with my friend from the post below.  He is doing fairly well with chemo.  The good news is that he has a cancer with a high cure rate (Hodgkin's lymphoma).  But he is at stage 2.  So it's not ideal but could be worse.  This was found during a routine physical.

  • My brother was misdiagnosed with that as a teen. I do remember them saying the prognosis for that particular kind of cancer was good. I hope all goes well for your friend!

  • RYC; You should get off the main route and go through the town of Selinsgrove. My Grandma's house is right in the center of town.Right across from her house is a great micro-brewery called The Brewery. It's in the old Governer Snyder Mansion building. You go around back and it's a quaint rustic place that makes award winning brew, they carry a sampler so you can try the different kinds. Love it in there. You can even get it to go in a jug. Look it up on google search. My grandma's house is directly across from that. And then for a great meal you can go down the street a half a block and get the best ribs in a place called BJ's. (yes I know-stupid name but that's what it's really called)WHen are you going through town again?

  • Good luck to your friend, I lost a friend in January and now have another that has 6 months. Cancer sucks!
