He is growing FAST. He and Robert will be quite the pair in a few years.

Daycare or nanny?

I really don't know the pro's and con's of either.

Middle of January and we have windows open at night.  I love it.

Married.

Son on the way.

Great in-laws.

Now I just need to find a new job.

Personal life is good.

Been spending long months on Cygnus.  Cargo vehicle going to the ISS.  Need to figure out some thruster vectors but otherwise I think life is good.

Busy, very busy.  Lots of yard work going on.  Work is busy too.  Working mostly on our new cargo vehicle that is going to the space station.  

Springsteen show the other night.  I disagree with his politics but he sure does rock.

Work is getting busy today.  It's been a bit slow but may be turning the corner.  Been at this job for almost 20 years now.

Last Friday night, about 11:20pm we were called out. A 22 year old had fallen off a cliff.  It was an ugly situation.  His body was so broken.  You start with the basics.. is he breathing.. is blood moving??  We had to "package" him and set up a rope system to haul him up. Then we had to carry him out to the ambulance which then took him to the helicopter.  Last I heard he is still alive. How alive is yet to be determined.  The back of his skull was not pretty. 

I cleaned up the stokes basket.  Using a hose.  His blood pooled at the base.  What a nice combination of water and red.  It soaked into the ground to be gone forever.  Maybe the worms like it.

I've done rescue work for about 14 years now and this ranks in the top 3 of the most intense.

Come December I will have been at this job for 20 years.

It wasn't really on my mind but I received the mailing where I can pick my 20 year gift.  No idea what I will pick.

The mountain bike looks interesting but so does the 10 piece cookware set.  I'm thinking one would be better for me than the other...
