  • If you are a homeowner with a woodstove.... don't put the ashes into a plastic trash can.  Which is sitting in leaves.  Which is right next to the house.

They got very lucky.  If they hadn't had metal siding....

Best part: it's a new member.  She joined a month ago. lol....  fodder for our next banquet.

  • My ashes go in a metal bucket. We have been having snow for the past two days on and off.Friday morning I woke up to 4 inches, then it snowed again later in the day.So I got to drive to and from work in the snow. Yesterday I drove to and from work in the snow again. It also looks like it's going to be like that all the way until Wed. Just great!!!! My nerves are so bad because of these tires.I go slow and so far haven't had trouble. But tomorrow it is supposed to be a mix of sleet and snow. Not ready to deal with this crap.

Decemeber 2nd is late shoppers night in Selinsgrove. My girl friends always get together at BJ's and eat bongo bongo dip then we walk the town. It's nice, the shops are decorated for christmas and they all have refreshments.I think this year will be about 15 girls. It will be hard to see my grandma's house with all the renovations and just the thought of it not being grandma's anymore-she lived right in the middle of town.I'm looking forward to some laughs and good times.I need it.How is your life going?
