Sunday evening had us running another MVA.
Luckily the female driver was not seriously hurt. We did have to take the door off though and the truck was a total loss. Nice truck too.
Here is a pic of me in the cab:Not much to see. I was putting it in park and taking out the key.
In other news, I was out tonight at 2am for a tree on fire. It was rather close to my house and the Chief and I arrived POV. Me coming one way, him from the other (since he lives nearby). It was kind of funny really. Remind me sometime to talk about how trees really do burn from merely touching electrical lines. It took forever for the Brush Truck to arrive. It was 32F and I was only in a shirt. So I could have been warmer. Good fun when the water came back in my face when we sprayed the tree. I was so cold. But so alive too.

That was a nice truck. Hard to believe that woman wasn't hurt. What was she halling in the back of that truck?
The truck had a cap that came off in the rollover. My guess is that she sold things at craft sales. She was hauling tables and craft work that was boxed up in individual boxes. Jewelery and such. There was a ton of it scattered all over the place.
Let me get this right? You were putting out a tree fire only in a shirt in 32 degree weather? You forget to grab your pants on the way out the door? Sorry I had to say that. ; )
I shoot my bow from 20 yards usually. Though I've shot closer and further.
And I've looked multiple times, I still don't see you in that picture.
Well I crawled in from the passenger side and am laying on the roof. The black object is my helmet. I am kind of laying on my right shoulder/arm. My left arm is working the lever to put it in park and turn off the ignition. Does that help you see it?
Thanks be to you Amra. Firefighters are my favorite heroes.
